No period after myomemtomy

I had the worst experience after a myomectomy in the summer of 2011. I'm very sure I did not even have any fibroid but a new doctor I was seeing kept telling me that I have fibroid and my chances of getting pregnant would be much better if he performed a myomectomy on me. I was not too happy about his finding since I was not bleeding heavily and I have never been informed by any doctor that I have fibroid. I have seen quite a few, many sonograms. My periods were normal 30 to about 32 days intervals.  The bleeding usually lasted for 5 to 6 days and they were very painful period but Aleve was doing the job by getting rid of the pain. Anyway, after numerous attempts to persuade me to do the surgery, I gave in and the surgery was performed in the summer of 2011. Before the surgery, the doctor always suggested that I adopt since I wanted children. Seriously, I think this doctor is an advocate for adoption or something I'm not sure. Please don't get me wrong because I don’t have anything against adoption but I wanted to have my own biological children. It sounded strange because he is actually a fertility doctor and his job is to help patients who are trying to get pregnant. To cut a long story short, that surgery was the worst surgery of my life! After the horrible surgery he performed on me, I was in so much pain after surgery and I was bleeding heavily. Two days after my surgery he stopped by my hospital bed and basically told me that, he was not able to put me back the way I was and as such, I will no longer have my period again. He talked to me about adoption again and then said he will help me to find a surrogate if I needed one. Never showed me any pictures of the fibroid and he basically does not have any answer for that. My life has completely ended because I want children so bad. This doctor has destroyed my life forever. I have seen 3 different doctors and nobody is able to figure out what he did to me. I have since gain over 20 pounds in less than a year. I have never had any weight issues. It is almost a year and I'm yet to see a period. My 28 inches waist looks like 45 inches now with a bulging stomach which is strange because I have had what I called the perfect flat stomach all along. Also my body feels so dry. Please I need help.
