I am having it sporadically also; the left side of my nose! I am not feeling stressed and nothing has changed in my routine. Just need to know it is not something looming like a stroke!

For me on the bridge of the nose, pulsating almost like blood or something is pumping through the area. Doesn't hurt, however it is driving me crazy.

its inflammation and swelling in the small vessels in your nose. it pushes on the nerve that innervates your facial muscles nearby. you will have temporary relief with nasal decongestant like afrin, or pseudoephedrine, saline nasal flushes, and air humidifiers while you sleep. However, you may need to go to your doctor and get a nasal swab for a bacterial infection. you will need antibiotics to get rid of the infection in your sinuses. once the infection is gone, you will no longer have the inflammation, and the nose twitching will cease for good. be careful not to over use your nasal decongestant (afrin) because it will make it even worse with rebound congestion and inflammation due to dried out nasal membrane and bleeding. good luck

I've had stress at work, lack of sleep and a lot of caffeine to deal with both.
My nose twitch started about 2 1/2 weeks ago and got worse and worse and started to include a lower eye lid twitch till 3 days ago.
I stopped drinking caffeine (Diet Coke) and started getting more sleep. I noticed a reduction of twitching the first day and today I haven't noticed it at all.
I'm sure there are several causes for this but I think I found and remedied mine.

A nose twitch could be a symptom of nerve damage. It could also be caused by a tic, most commonly referred to as Tourette's Syndrome. Some people get facial twitches when they are stressed or tired. It is good to consult a doctor to get the correct diagnosis. This is the best way to ensure proper treatment.- The Helper

Ah, glad to see I am not the only one experiencing this weird twitch!!! It's just above my left nostril and is so incredibly annoying, but I'd honestly feel weird/silly going to my doctor about it! However, all the comments linking it to stress make A LOT of sense, as I'm currently finishing up the first year of my PhD program...

Also, I have been drinking a bit more coffee lately, AND I've really ramped up my workouts, as I have more time due to the semester being over (two things that several other people have mentioned as well!). I wonder if it's the combination of stress and these other factors?!
Good luck everyone with figuring this out! :D

If this has been going on for 5-6 years now(which is a pretty long time) you might have Blepharospasm. Myabe for you,its chronic, or permanent. but it usually lasts a few day for me.

Does your nose twitch corresspond with any specific thoughts or emotions? Like thinking about relationships or responsibilities ect..
How is the air quality at home and at school/work, is the air quality poor or does it change often?
And have you been plucking hairs from it regularly? It could be having nervous system spasms.
you dont have to answer these publically, just ponder on the thought if you please.
