iam worried that i wont start my period for a while. Iam quite embarrased that i haven't started but most people tell me its okay.
i kinda want to start my period because everyone else has. Theres one of my friends that haven't started but i know she will start before me. Should i worry about this and when will i start?

honey u will start when ur body is good and ready too. theres no set age and just because ur mates have dont mean u need to, whats the rush??? just enjoy being 12 and the rest will all fall into place xx
Darling, believe me, it's okay. I didn't start my period until I was thirteen, almost fourteen. I know how you feel, but just wait, there's nothing you can do to make your period come before your friend's. Also, there is no way to know when someone will get their period (other than if a person who has already started their period can tell from PMS), so you might even get yours first. Just remember it's not a race :)
