I had the same surgery around 8 years ago and my life has been increasingly horrific every day . I do not know which is worse , the excrutiating pain in my entire lower region with the pressure or endless feeling of having to urinate to the extreme mood swings and feeling like I can"t go one more day . No one else should have to go through this . Just trying to contact someone with a similar story . These procedures need to be stopped !

I had Novasure done August 2017 and since I had that procedure I have started seeing my overall health deteriorate. Now is Januar 2018 and I had some terrible cramps and started bleeding again. The pain in my back is really strong and going to end up having a hysterectomy. I also have headaches which I never had before.

I just tried to attain a lawyer and because the statue of limitations ran out he couldn't help me. He said even under Discovery law and even the new injury even from the point of Discovery he still wouldn't represent me. I had my procedure 2008 or 2009 excruciating pain hit me in 2016. I'm on hormanal therapy which doesn't help do hysterectomy is the next option. This ablation procedure is dangerous and our symptoms happens years later. We need to try to fight the statue of limitations Law!!!!

Try a pelvic floor visceral therapist and myofascial release. It has taken over 7 years but it saved my life.

This procedure I now call the biggest mistake of my life. I call them DEATH CRAMPS but with no bleeding, it's worse than childbirth.
I've been diagnosed with post ablation syndrome, pelvic congestion syndrome, I. Wish THIS on no one in the future.
When a Dr. Cannot perform a bunch biopsy because your scar tissue is so thick there's a problem, when a cat scan report reads, patient has LAKES OF FLUID building above uterus is awful.
Cannot get the required hysterectomy due to no insurance at the moment.
Thinking of you all. I'm a wife, mom and 45 yr old grandma.
It's ruined a lot of my life

Had Novasure done several years ago. Had tubal ligation years prior to that. A few months after Novasure, periods stopped. However, severe cyclic pain started and has continued. Lots of weight gain and recently, past 2 years, moderate to severe depression. About 2 months ago started having brownish pink heavy spotting almost every day and the cyclic pain has become near constant pain. My GYN, who performed the procedure, has discovered that I have Post Ablation Tubal Sterilization Syndrome. My fallopian tubes have basically become large blood filled pockets due to bleeding from my uterus. A normal tube is about 0.5 cm, but mine are about 6.5 cm at this time and the only way to fix this situation is a hysterectomy. I feel as if I was not fully informed and had never heard of PATSS before having the ablation done. I would certainly have considered more carefully if I had known. Years without heavy periods are very good, but blood backing up into your tubes instead is not a nice trade off. Please research and consider carefully. Nobody wants to have a hysterectomy, especially in your 30's.

I wish I had a huge mistake. I have been having contractions in my back and lower part of my stomach. So unbearable... Prescribed Percocet and they don't work

I just wish a bunch of us can get together to change the point of Discovery law and the statue of limitations.

What we can certainly do at this time is to share our stories so that ladies will at least consider very carefully before having the ablation done and possibly keep others from potential problems if it is not right for them. Admittedly, I am scared of having the hysterectomy that I now need because I feel that my doctor wasn't forthcoming with me before the ablation. Can I believe my doctor when he says that the hysterectomy will solve the problem and that I will not go into menopause since he can leave my ovaries? There is not a lot of specific info on removal of uterus, both tubes but leaving ovaries that I have found so far. All the best to everyone!
