Over the past two weeks ive noticed my feet were swollen up when i woke up and then remained slightly numb through out the entire day. This occurs at least three times a week. My feet were so swollen one day that i couuld barely put on my tennis shoes. Today my ankles are very swollen and numb, one moreso than the other. I am morbidly obese and im sure that has something to do with it...but does anyone have any ideaas what could be causing this?
Hi:
I am so sorry that you are experiencing such discomfort. As you may know, obesity can contribute to diabetes. This might cause your feet and ankles to swell. A severe weight problem might also affect your circulation. Either of these conditions, without treatment, could cause serious and long-term consequences. If you have not been checked for either of these conditions, you should do so immediately. They would also be able to advise you as to how you might tackle the challenging issue of weight loss. You are not alone in your struggle. Find a support system and tackle these problems for the sake your overall health and quality of life. I wish you the very best. Don't delay...Please keep us updated in regards to your condition and solutions.
