I’m 16 weeks pregnant and feel really disturbing numbness in my stomach. I haven’t had problems with morning sickness. I can notice that I’m bigger every day. I feel very tired and need to sleep a lot, but I can’t because I’m nervous. Please tell me something about treating numbness in stomach durring pregnancy.
Numbness is normal in pregnancy. I had numbness in my hands, fingers and legs during my last pregnancy. Volume of fluids in your body increases 50% when you are pregnant. Your intestines change their position; so problems with digestion, constipation are also common. It’s all uncomfortable, but it’s part of preparing for new role in your life.
Just keep it away from your eyes.
try and relax and get a good night sleep, you'll feel much better for it!! i get numbness is my legs which is actually a time to thank god as the rest of the time they hurt like hell!! didnt have it in my stomach but was told it was normal if i did!! if your worried just call your m/w she'll be able to put your mind at rest!!
Sleep is very important at your stage though so try and get some as you'll soon be missing out on loads by darting to the loo and be kicked through the night!!
