hi been today to have a ultrasound on my kidneys as i have been told i have blood in my urine im a 40 yr old male .
The person told me he could only see my left kidney which was over siezed and could not see the right kidney .
He told me i could of had an infection which is why there is no more kidney on the right side he said there is nothing to be worried about just go back and see my doctor in a weeks time

I would get blood work to see what your blood levels are. Creatinine and such. You could have been born with only one kidney which the other kidney would be larger to compensate to it might be nothing but just to make sure.
Yes have your Creatinine and B.U.N. checked yearly.
