Your all most likely dealing with CO2!!! I had similar problems in the apartment we moved in to. Being in to gardening i use co2 enrichment in green houses to accelerate growth. I found being in the green house at 1000ppm would give me these symptoms very quickly. When i felt them at home we did the usual routine called gas company they come out with meters say nope your fine no CO. ask them about when the gas burns clean a blue flame makes CO2 yellow is CO. The CO2 builds from exhaled air, gas stove, gas furnace, any gas fired appliance (propane too) the CO2 takes a long time to disipate with no powered exhaust. When i setup my CO2 meter in the house it started alarming out over 1400ppm!! 1200 kills tomato plants and they need CO2. So we ended up finding the furnace burner had burned through the fire box. Landlord put new furnaces. Which made it a bit better. There was still no make up air to allow the old exhaust and hot air out the chimney. This causes the CO2 to collect in the house. Being heated it penetrates through walls floors and everything in the house. This then steadily rises causing seriousl health issues that mimic everything. We now spend the winter with the windows open a crack and an exhaust fan running 24/7 all winter long. Landlord thinks were are full of c**p and does not believe we still get sick from his house. We used a thermal imaging camera to detect a leak in the chimney joint which leaks the exhaust in to the house. I suggest everyone stops wasting money and time going to these dumb doctors who do nothing but guess the wrong thing push drugs when all they need to do is stop by the house with a few items. 1 gas detector (flamable gas)
2. CO detector (carbon monoxide)
3. Humidistat. (Humidity causes rot and mold)
4. CO2 detector make sure your not being suffocated. (Check it with no one in the room. Set the meter leave for a while no pets no exhaling creatures only the house being tested)
Items can all be bought at amazon for roughly 250$. So for less money than you will waste on copays and worthless drugs that will likely poison you more you will know whats making you sick. Id bet its CO2.

Too many dust particles and miscellaneous seep through carpet and padding to be picked up by vacuum. I had to rip out my carpet. You would not believe what was under the padding. It literally looked like sand.

Unhealthy homes are very common. I deal with this often. There are many things that can make you sick and unfortunately your own home can be one of them. What my company does is come to your house and check for carbon monoxide, gas leakage and excess humidity. Did you know that federally mandated carbon monoxide monitors only go off at a level of 400ppm (particles per million)? It only takes a level of 70ppm to experience the side effects described here. Low level CO poisoning happens every day. Coldani Insulation is the name of my company and addressing these problems and solving them is what we do. I know am insulation conpany seems like an odd solution. We do things differently. Addressing indoor living conditions as well as improving indoor air quality and solving indoor comfort issues is our job. I hope this helps. I look forward to helping you.

My husband and I have too been poorly since we moved into this new house, |We live in England by the way so not sure whether you can get this reply, but here goes. Since moving in my husband (who has always been fit and well) looks very poorly and finds it hard to walk. He is always asleep (we are retired), lost quite a bit of weight and generally feels ill. I have headaches every day and me too find it hard to get out of bed in the mornings and could stay in bed and go to sleep all day. Although we are in our early 70's and were both energetic, life is passing us by with feeling ill all the time.

Your symptoms could be caused by noise. Even if you don't wake up, low levels of sound can disturb sleep. I am experiencing this myself with noise from an air conditioning unit. I sleep all night, but I wake up feeling sick and ill and am tired all day.

My family and I bought a house on 3 acres almost 2 years ago. We were all getting sick with these same symptoms, my 2 year old was diagnosed with asthma and him and our other child have had tubes so far from constant ear infections. We got bad headaches, extreme fatigue, legs hurting, stomach problems, confusion, dizziness and the list goes on. We found mold in the home and have since moved into a camper on the same property.. some of the symptoms have gone away but alot are still on going, we thought maybe Sycamore trees so we had the 5 on our property cut down and removed. Still sick. Were at a loss on what is could be, weve done several water tests as well as 2 of our kids getting samples done with PCP to rule out parasites from well water. What else could it be??? We have absolutely no money to move, my husbands been out of work because of being so sick he cant even drive his Semi truck anymore which is how we made our extra money. Any help or suggestions at all would be greatly greatly appreciated!!

A lot of contractors are starting to build homes with press boards instead of solid wood and the chemicals in the Press board could be breaking down because moisture causes press boards through time to breakdown press boards are held together by chemicals

Hi, I think mold was causing these symptoms and I can explain why some of the symptoms haven't gone away. For starters, the symptoms you described are symptoms of Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome or CIRS (a chronic illness often caused by mold that approximately 1/4 people are genetically prone to). Let's say you have it and you didn't know. People who have CIRS are unable to get rid of these toxins naturally, even when they are no longer exposed. Like any other chronic illness, they need to be treated by a doctor and partake in detox protocols in order to fully get rid of the mold in their bodies. If you think you still are being exposed to mold, test your home using ERMI and HERTSMI scores because these are the only tests that measure how safe a home is for people who are genetically more sensitive to mold than the average person.
