Dont worry, u may not be as "fat " as u think. Wat I'm saying is that I am 12 and weigh 130. But I'm 5ft and 7in, and thy is about healthy, but I still feel bleehhhhh lol but ur weight usually depends on ur height. But if u feel too flabby, u should exersise a lot, and eathealthy, try not seduce to. CAKE. ITS EEEEEVVVIIIILLLL!!!!!! Btw if u hats love handles do situps and competitive. Swimming. Helps thy and a lot else. Or trilathons. Ps I like waffles and Harry potter. Idk y I wrote that....
hi, im 12 and trust me i weight 65kg! that is so much, and everytime i say to myself that i will b on a diet and b fit and skinny, but i give up after not even a day! i dont want to b fat, but its so hard when all this junk food tastes too good! i can never stop eating, I eat so fast that after an hour i am hungry again, and all these things are just too hard to quit, i feel like at this stage, food for me is like REALLY adictive drugs! i know it sound OTT but its true! i dont wanna be fat! and my mom want to loose weight when shes 24 years older than me and weighs 54kg for as long as i know xx so please dont give up whatever it takes coz i always give up and all it does to me is make me gain weight, so dont give up coz itll make it worse ! i will try my best now because i learnt my lesson, GOOD LUCK!
Hi, i'm 12 years old too(just turned 12 yesterday :)) And, I know you may think this is nothing compared what you or others may be going through, but i'm 129.5 pounds and i'm overweight. I'm starting these excercising classses, and they've REALLY made a difference. If you are strugguling, ask your parents to try some, and if not, ride to school on your bike or walk.:-)
I feel your pain, I'm 12 and 113 pounds everyone else at my school weighs like 85, but i started walking every morning and i feel great about my self. so you could start walking then running once you feel more conformable. :-D
Gods, this reminds me of myself. I'm 12, I weigh 130 lbs, and I am trying really hard to lose weight. When I was younger, I ate like a PIG, and I regret it deeply now. I was pretty much stuffing food down my throat 24/7. I hated exercise, fruits, and vegetables, and pretty much anything that was good for me. Only a couple of months ago, I realized how much damage I was doing for my body and decided to do something about it. I still hate exercising and have a lot of trouble getting myself of my chair, but I have improved my diet by at least 90% and hope to get to 110 pounds in a month or two. I just need a LOT of motivation to exercise but I'm planning to start using the stairs every morning and afternoon instead of taking the elevator. Also, I'm getting a cat, and I found that if you play a lot with your cat and chase each other around it's a really good way to exercise and have fun while doing so. I hope that this helped anyone out there.
I need bad help to lose weight i'm 12 yrs old and weigh 174lbs i am currently 5'5 i dont mind going on a diet but going on a scale really discourages me so i want to loose weight so i dont get bullied and so i can have a better self esteem.

I feel for you. There is so much pressure in our society to look a certain way and fit into a certain weight category. The first thing you have to do is recognise that this pressure comes from people and industries that make money off us feeling insecure about the way we look. The second thing is to acknowledge that 95% of people who try to lose weight do not succeed - studies show that there is no scientifically proven way to lose weight.
My suggestion is that you forget about the weight and focus on health. Always keep in mind that weight and health are NOT the same thing. People come in all shapes and sizes. Being big may not be 'attractive' according to the media that makes money off our insecurities, but making your body smaller is not the solution - the solution is to change our perspective. I recommend googling DancesWithFat or Ragen Chastain - she blogs about size acceptance, Health At Every Size and being a fathlete. (Also, have you see that awesome image of Olympic athletes and all their different body shapes? It's awesome - these are all people in peak physical condition!)
Studies show that no matter what their size, people who worry about weight are less healthy than those who don't worry about it. It's a big call, but accepting your body for the awesomeness that it is is the first step to becoming the healthiest person you can be.
I'm 12 years old I don't know how much I way.. I think about 150.. And I'm fat! I look at my pics when I was 9 and skinny and I pray and cry to God to please change me to that chase I keep trying and trying and the losing weight thing don't work!! I can't take it... It's just a little prayer!!
hey that sounds like great improvement! one thing: r u sure u should eat NO lunch? like u dont want to have 2 many cravings, do u? how about this: super yummy and healthy too: 60% wholewheat bread, cheese(skinny cow brand) and then a tiny bit of mayo underneath. then a slice of lettuce ( fresh!) and some people like pickles too. i eat that with lowfat milk. u could change it up; sometimes i have other stuff like cucumbers and dip(lowfat) but anyways KEeP IT UP!
u r overweight. but if u start noi=w u could get really far on your weightloss goal! dont give up or say "im ugly anyway"or "just one more brownie"GET GOING! i am almost 13 and weight 90 pounds, which is average about but i am short, not big-boned and should weigh about 80 but i dont. i wanna try oh and omg i have to tellu!! google search "per slim weight loss free order"and it should show up right away. it is amazing. im not allowed to get it but like read it!!i hope you mom will let u get it! it is so great wow and u know what if u not allowed just make excercise fun. like swim
