Ovulation-like Pain - 4wks Pregnant

Hi everyone, I suspect I'm pregnant, and from my first day of my last cycle I wud be 3 weeks 6 days pregnant. I'm due for my period within the next day or 2 so I took an early detection home pregnancy test yesterday morning and it came up negative but I have had these same symptoms with lower ovulation like pains on n off for 3 days as well as lower back pain. N now n then I randomly feel slightly out of breath n need to take a few deep ones.. I have not had n e thing to drink today. I was up at 8am n it's now 2pm n I've gone for a pee 5 or 6 times since I got up... N I have to go again now! Lol does n e one think it's possible that because I want to be pregnant so bad that it's just all in my head? I guess I'll know in a few days because I know it's possible my hcg levels are not high enough.

i think i'm 3-4 weeks preg & i'm feeling the same ovulation pains as all the other posts. this def put my mind at ease & i'll get to a doc asap to check it out! thanks!

Hi, I am having ovulation type pain on my left side in ovary/hip/vagina wall area. I have missed a period and pretty sure im pregnant, but scared it could be ectopic because of this discomfort. It has been going for an entire day and night now, and at the moment seems more noticeable at top left hand side of my vagina for some reason. I havent had a positive pregnancy test yet but with my first child the pregnancy didnt show up on a test till I was five weeks. I would be four weeks now. I have a copper coil- as far as I know- unable to check as my cervix is tilted too far back for me to feel the threads- but assuming its still there, I am scared it may be an ectopic pregnancy. No blood or anything, no sign of my period but Ive had cramps since wednesday (now Sunday). Im just really worried it'll be ectopic and I'll lose it! My husband does not want any more kids, so this (total accident) would be my last chance to have another baby!!! Someone please reply!!!

The fact that almost everyone posting is around 4-5 weeks along and experiencing that same symptom make me feel better. I am also 4-5 weeks and have same slight pain on the left. I have a history of cysts so I'm hoping that's all it is. But I'll be going to the doc soon.

It is your little one growing inside most probably I had pains that bad I thought I was miscarrying. However I was told by my mw that your body can still try to abort up to 12 weeks

Did you ever find out what that was,

I'm almost 16 weeks pregnant and still having feelings like I'm ovulating or about to start my cycle. My OB said it was because of this being my first pregnancy and everything stretching for the first time. I'm not sure if that helps any of you or not. I have my 16 week check up this Thursday and I'm going to talk to her again about it. I'm usually really sick at my stomach when it starts happening so I've been worried that something else may be going on, but as long as she says the baby is healthy and I'm ok then I'm happy.

I'd also like to say thank you, this post has put my mind to rest too. I've had the exact same searing pains on and off on my right side. Like a dagger. But no blood and a negative test. Was worried about ectopic but hopefully it's just a 'normal' early pregnancy pain.

I know you posted this a year ago but I am experiencing the exact same pains and it's hurting alot! Can you give me any advice of what the outcome was pls ?

Hello :-) im 5 weeks pregnant and had pain since ovulation too. I just had a scan and its not etopic dr said some ppl just have more aches and pains than others. This is my 2nd pregnancy and i didnt have these pains until 6 weeks. Its driving me insane but no bleeding so im used to pains now and im not scared anymore.
