Hello,

Recently I have been having this pain around the head of my penis, and its not at the tip like where many of my searches ended up. It can be on the side at the glands or right on the back where the foreskin meets the head - a little to the right. The pain only happens when I am erect. It makes masturbating hard, and not even sure if I should be attempting to do so with this pain.
I am now 20, and not having regular intercourse. I am not circumcised, and on that topic: the head is very sensitive, so much so that I can't touch it myself.
What should I do, I don't know what caused this, I have not done anything out of the ordinary... just happened. So should I just not masturbate for awhile and try to keep it clean for a week or so? I am shy and do not know how to approach a doctor about this, I can't even think how to open a dialog on the subject... lol.

Thanks for any help, appreciated!

Josh
you most likely just have irritation from masterbation or sex, try not doing these 2 things for awhile and see how you feel.

Try to build your confidence and open a dialog with your doctor regarding this issue. Doctors never mind, and he will do the treatment very well.

Thank you for the replies, I will lay off for awhile. I'll think about seeing a doctor, might bring it up during a check up or something... maybe heh.
I don't think its anything bad, its just a pain, not a alarm one or anything.
