I am experiencing tingling from my right inner thigh, upper hind leg right underneath my buttox, down my leg to my right foot Alot of discomfort in my toes as well.
It is really killing me ( metaphorically speaking) It feels like numbness and tingling both and I can't get any relief when I elevate my leg or stand up. I've tried to lay down and it hurts and throbs, tingles, and feels like it's not getting enough blood flow.
I'm like freaking out!!!! I've tried doing the shaking the leg to make it stop and it doesn't help. Ya think I need a Dr.?
I'm really stubborn when it comes to going to the Dr. I don't want to be labeled as a hypochondriac. ? Any clues of what is happening?

No one seems to have tried chiropractic treatments for this issue. I too have had tingling in my feet, toes, and hands. Sometimes the pain in my feet is extremely painful and feels like a band stretched too tight across the bottom of my foot. However, regular chiropractic adjustments help to keep it under control by realigning the body properly. Medical doctors won't suggest chiropractic though.

Case History

My wife had a sinus problem in Nov 2006 which was treated with antibiotic, the she had broncitis in December which was again treated with 3 different biotics. She also had an eye infection. In Feb 2007 she had a bad headache which lasted for 24 hrs. One week later she started to get tingling in her right foot, her doctor diagnosed her as having had a Thelamic stroke. The symptoms progeseed from pain in the range of 8 and then numbness. The same happened to her right hand and she has lsot control of the little fingure and the ring fingure. Pain and numbness is now up to her knee and elbow. She has now lost feeling on the right side of her face. So far the only diagnosis is that it was not a stroke. She has high protein in her celebral fluid.
She is now having a nerve biopsy, a spinal MRI and a scan to trace radio activie substance injected into her blood. We are looking for any suggestions as to diagnosis.

My wife has now been diagnosed.

Her problem is a rare side symptom of Sjogren's Syndrome, the normal symptoms are dry eyes, nose and mouth.

I hope others on this web site have similar success getting a diagnosis

Yes I Had the same thing for years with the drs telling me nothing was wrong. Finally found a neurologist who did a small nerve biopsy and lo and behold most of the small nerve fibers in my feet and lower legs are destroyed. I am on neurontin and that helps with the pain and burning but it never goes away. But at least I can walk.

Okay everybody. I don't know what I have. But just about a 2 weeks ago my right pinky and ring finger tips started losing feeling as if it was always numb. Along with the numbness feelings was the pin and needlse feeling along with it. I thought at first that it might be my circulation or something. So I would position my hand up high to get my blood flowing. I have no idea why this is happening to me. But it still continues to exist to this day. I've had this going on for almost two weeks now. Can someone with a similar problem help me clarify what I might have? Thanks

Has anyone considered seeing a chiropractor? Having a properly aligned back and neck is generally what ensures proper nerve function. ( Your regular doctor or neurologist will not tell you this) :-)

I have also experienced these symptoms. I have numbness in my legs, hands and arms. There is a burning sensation along with this. Sometimes my fingers get ice cold. At night it tends to be worse when I lay down. I recently began having numbness in my face. I do suffer from Vasculitis and Pernicious Anemia. Which can cause some of these problems. I was told taking a B-12 supplement shoudl help. I have been on this for a month now. So far no change. I wonder if any of this is herediatry?

Since Jan '06, I've had a whole array of problems. But the one remaining one is my right side pain. It began with fatigue, so-called 'chest wall pain' in the right side, then a sensitivity to alcohol... where even a little bit would give me a headache and leave me feeling 'dead'. I even had a bout with oral thrush for a month. The vision in my right eye has been lacking as well. Also, bowel problems. I was constipated for a bit, until I somehow stumbled upon acidophilus.

It's a pain in my leg and foot.... it's the kind of pain you get where if you've been standing/walking all day... except I feel that even when I first wake up. Sometimes it's in my right arm, right abdomen, but here's the odd part.... the right side of my neck is slightly swollen as well. Have had ct scans... not a tumor... growth, or gland... just like... the muscle is constantly flexed, or something.... which may be the problem? Just slight, constant flexing causing it to be tired?

Along with this, when I did squat workouts at the gym a year ago, I fell asleep, but woke up with the WORST PAIN EVER. From the bottom right of my brain, all the way down my whole right side felt like lightning/fire and blinding pain for a few seconds. Was fine after... went to the ER... nothing.

Had similar, but nowhere near that pain after a similar workout, months later. Kept at it, that pain hasn't been back since.

Have had an MRI of head and spine, countless blood tests, ct scan of head, neck and abdomen, x-rays of lungs... nothing. Also nasal congestion since jan '06.... the kind that makes my right nostril feel clogged and my voice is even affected. Oh... here's something... the only thing in any blood work coming up weird, is the 'antigliadin IgG of like, 93 when it should be 0-14.

Help?

Sadly, I believe I have the same problem.
The numbness in all my joints, and in my head/face. I wake up early in the morning, usually around two a.m., in the pitch blank, only coming to find that most of my body is numb. So, I lay there and try to move, and after awhile, I'm able. But then after I have a little feeling, I start this blacking out period, where it feels like I have a major head ache, and there is a weight on my chest. And my vision gets all fuzzy, and I literally feel like I'm dieing. It's very frightening, seen as how I'm only 15 years old. I've researched the subject alot, because at two in the morning what else are you going to do when your afraid to go back to sleep 'cause you may never wake back up. I came to find that none of the condition, professionals stated are 'dead on'. I have some symptom, but never all. And quite frankly I'm scared out of my mind. I can't sleep at night, ever. All that I can count on is becoming so weak, that I pass out for a couple hours. It's sad, and unhealthy. And I don't know what to do about it. My docter said it was caused by stress. Which makes perfect sence, because being only fifteen I'm dealt a whole load of it. But, that still doesn't help, because I have no idea how to get rid of the stress. And not being able to go to sleep at night, doesn't help one bit. Plus, my school is alway harrassing me to get back to school, but I can't focus on anything. I'm just to tired and scared, and clearly have other things on my mind. Now, I'm seriously losing faith in ever being reunited with my pillow. I need help. :-(

I have a verY similar problem but also have not found any answers. I have chronic back pain that I refers pain to most of my body for 9 years. About 2 years ago alot of pain started going into my hand and face. It is a buzzing pain a bit like pins and needles only painful. Almost like electricity in my hands. The pain is there all the time and I use ice packs on my face and hands to manage it through out the day and night. I also have the pain in my feet and use heat packs for it. Other than that I have been given no real explanation. I have seen all the doctors and had all the tests. Nothing has helped.

Here's my story - I'll try to be brief...I NEED HELP! I have a form of anemia called spherocytosis, but starting last year in February my hands started "falling asleep" - I had so many other health issues at the time including blood clots, cellulitis and the anemia I was hospitalized several times. Over the course of the year, it got progressively worse and I am experiencing weakness in the legs, so I keep falling down for no reason. I fell so hard in October I broke my foot. My hands are now completely numb, my toes are falling asleep and I now noticed my lower back/rear end is now tingling, and the left side of my face just above my mouth tingles sometimes. I have had an MRI, spinal x-rays, extensive bloodwork and an EMG (shock wave test to determine if there is any nerva ending damage) and all tests are fine. So the doctors think I'm nuts and want to put me on antidepressants. My thyroid is also fine. The thing is that I have had doctors tell me before that nothing was wrong with me and I was always right. I am not a hypocondriac or a baby, in fact I push myself
too hard and never give up. Once I was in the hospital for 10 days complaining something was terribly wrong and they didn't believe me (my blood pressure was 70/30, heart rate 40 and I gained 41 lbs in 2 weeks without eating a thing, legs were blown up like balloons) and they were going to send me home, then discovered I had pulminary embolism and almost died. Another time I went to the emergency room because I was so weak I couldn't even walk, they said I was fine, then took my hemaglobin and it was 7, I needed 4 transfusions, only to discover I had sperocytosis. Now I know there is something very wrong but since they can't find it, the dismiss me. I am at witt's end...can anyone offer any clue as to what could be wrong? I am only 47 years old and have a lot of living to do. My e-mail is _[removed]_Code:

You all sound like you could use a visit to the chiropractor. They can help restore nerve function in your body. You are experiencing all these sensations and migraines possibly due to a misaligned spine. The spine is the most under appreciated part of the body. Let us all remember that TH nervous system is the first to develop in our bodies for a reason. I urge you all to go to a chiropractor and get some relief without medication.
