I have severe pain on my lower right ribs with what looks like 3 protruding veins/glands. I have had the pain for 2 weeks and it is not getting better. Went to the Doctor yesterday and he is unsure so came away with a course of antibiotics and painkillers. It hurts when I breath and I cannot sleep on that side because of the pain. Any clues? I spoke to a friend about having these symptoms and she suggested it might be a reoccurance of shingles. Could it be?
