I'm 13 years old and for awhile now, many years actually, I've usually laid on my left side while trying to sleep. There are some nights where I sleep perfectly; but many nights I don't. I get a stabbing pain under my left breast. Sometimes the pain is "ehh, I can handle this. It's nothing!" Or its excruciating pain, to the point it randomly comes and goes and makes me jump in pain. It last for a couple minutes. Sometimes stretching to 10 minutes. I told my mom, but she doesn't think it's serious. It happens about 5-10 times a month, for the past (guess) 4 years. Is this serious?
Hi there
You are still in your growing up years, yes, breast pain during these years is fairly common. However, suggest you take a warm bath before going to bed. Do not wear a bra while going to bed. Eat healthy, drink lots of water, sleep well. You will be alright

Hi, You are in growing age. Many possible causes of sharp pain. Such as * Muscle pains * Pericarditis * Heartburn * Problems with chest wall * Lung issues ...etc I would suggest take an appointment with a doctor for diagnosed and needful advice.
Thanks,
Peggy
