Hello,

A big majority of people who have their gallbladder removed end up facing the same situation you are - the gallbladder attack pain returns even though there's of course no gallbladder. What remains are the bile ducts that still deliver the bile from your liver to stomach. They can become obstructed or inflamed after the surgery. Another problem that might be contributing is bile reflux – it functions pretty much like acid reflux only that too much bile causes, from my experience at least, is more similar to gallbladder stone pain. If you had surgery just this year, you also might try keeping some sort of food diary and see which food tend to cause the pain more often. If you can, get a GI appointment to make sure bile ducts aren’t causing the problem,

Wish you all the best,

Nicole
