the last 3 or 4 times i have sex with my wife right when i am going to ejaculate i get a sharp pain near my belly button could this be a pulled muscle or something worse thanks
This doesn't sound good.
Most all the muscle groups involved in ejaculation do NOT involved the higher abdomen.
The possibilities are plenty... everything from appendix to a hernia.
The best thing would probably be to schedule a regular doctor visit but to tell them specifically what you want to discuss. At the very least, a visual inspection and Male UG exam would be called for. This should include but not be limited to:
Testicular exam,
Penile exam,
Rectal exam,
Palpation of the abdomen
Scrotal exam
Crematory reflex
Abdominal exam with direct and indirect hernia check
This need not be panic time and most all of these are not painful, though they might not be what you are used to in a routine physical exam.
They would be used to rule out some areas and to turn up anything that might be related.
One other off the wall suggetion...
Next time you're having sex and likely to experience ejaculation...
Keep a permanent red marker next to the bed...
and IF you experience such a shooting, stabbing pain, grab the marker and pin-point on your abdomen exactly where you feel it, where it runs to and from with an arrow, and anything else that is related... example: cramping, discolored patch on the skin, etc.
You might find that what you think is an internal stabbing pain is actually a new piercing in your wife's navel! ;-) ;-)
