I was drinking a lot over christmas and now i have a very sore throat so i took ibuprofen but as i went to sleep i vommited on my sheets. Upon checking the vomit for colour i noticed it was blood and now im panicing i looked up my symptoms someone told me i could die in a few hours. Has anyone else vomitted blood after drinking or am i in danger?

I think the best thing to do is to watch your drinking and smoking but i almost think this has to something with the lungs thats why you cough.i believe the alcohol might be affecting your respiratory system .yet again alcohol affects not only your brain but all hour body in weird ways.

A sore throat is a common thing after a night of heavy drinking. Mainly because you dehydrated yourself from all the alcohol which makes the tissue in your throat feel scratchy. If you say that is doesn't hurt as much if you drink or eat, then I think it might just be your 'hang-over' from the night before. That's what usually happens to me anyways. All my friends complain about headaches after a night of partying, while I am the one with a sore throat and a scratchy voice. It usually blows over after a day of rest and plenty of water/tea with honey.

Hey guys i am experiencing a common problem.i had drinking excessively during weekend. In fact I drank a dry gin without a dash almost half a bottle or more have had few bottles of Heineken before all this. When I woke up i felt like the was something which seemed like a solid food particular. People told me that I have been vomiting a lot. This was the first time it happens. Now I feel like my throat is damaged in a sense. I feel like it's dry so I keep swallowing saliva. I'm not sure which part is damaged. Can someone help please!
