Mine is in the exact spot you described. Same thing for me when I would get appt, it would be gone. Finally got an "emergency" appt with the NP at my Gyno office in 2010. She lanced it (so painful) thinking it might be an ingrown hair? No such luck and that thing came back every month and would get big, burst and drain. I was in tears one day to my Doctor just trying to explain how horribly this lump affects my life. It makes me not want to date anyone, I have to be careful wearing white pants. Seems like a silly concern to some people I'm sure when there are many things much worse in this world! She told me I need to see another physician because it is not really a gynecology issue. I'm going on 4 years with this cycle and just haven't taken that step to find another doctor. Glad to see others have same experience and I'm not an alien :) Thank goodness for the internet! I'm an RN and tried the above "solution" using sterile procedure - ended up at the GYN and on a 10-day course of antibiotic. Get yourselves screened for Diabetes - I tested negative and my MD was shocked as these "cysts/growths" are normally found in folks with DM. I'm at a loss with pain in my legs x 10 days and this growth showing up just yesterday . . .

They r probably boils.once u get them,they usually reacure .if u pop them urself,and they go away ur fine just stay in top of them . It might get bad and u will have to go if u can't get it taking care of urself

I am not sexually active and I get these all the time before I have my period I am an active person and I believe that they form from sweat and then it gets irritated they hurt like hell and become dark purple and even black after this pops I start my period and these make my periods very irregular and always wear a panty liner when I get these because when they pop I bleed for a few hours

In have had the same thing for around twenty years now, I have drained it through the years and it never completely goes away it started out about the size of a pea and now it's about the size of an aspirin tablet, I have never asked the obgyn about it because of embarrassment, but I have kept an eye on it and drained it through the years. I am sure it's just a clogged sweat gland or something, my husband gets these on his back, I'm not worried about it at all after twenty years I'm sure if it was something serious I wouldn't be telling you my story right now so don't be afraid of it it's probably not serious. Yes, if you shave or wax or gym and wear tight clothing/underwear for long periods and or work long shifts and sweat a lot in shifts then it aggitates skin and causes blocked skin nodes like a pimple but under the skin

Too much friction and aggitation underneath the skin causing a cyst/pimple like node that should go away in 3-5 weeks if you have coconut oil and sleep without underwear lightly rub/pat some on so it will heal quicker and hopefully not come back. Oil and clothing does not mix too well but coconut is a natural product. LC
