Hello.. Uhm, I have been sexually active for quite some time now. My ex was clean, as well as my current boyfriend.

I acquire these blister like 'things' on my vagina lips, on the outside, or near the inside of them sometimes. They are painless, and don't spread once popped or anythng; they just get slightly itchy. It's not painful to walk, and they don't scab over.. They just go away. This seems to happen after I have sex with my boyfriend. He's quite well endowed down there, and it's often painful to piddle afterwards. We don't see each other a lot, so it's not an everyday thing when I have sex. But it hurts to go pee afterwards, and I was told that's because he's so large I can get UTI's often or something. But these little blister thingies have pretty much been freakin' me the hell out. I've looked up so many pictures of genital herpes on the internet, and none of them look even remotely similar to the blisters I am getting. They're clear, painless, slightly itchy occasionally, and go away simply within a couple of days.

I had donated blood, and I know you can get tested for herpes by your blood. Your blood gets over 80 tests when you donate, and I'm sure if they can't use your blood, they would let you know. I received my little blood donor card with my name on it and blood type, etc on it, so I'm pretty damn sure I am herpes free. But I'm just really freaked out, and I want to know what is causing these blister like things on my vag, and how to prevent it. PLEASE someone give me some insight.. :(

I've experienced the same thing, and to the best of my research it seems these blisters are caused by friction (among other things). I too get them after sex sometimes, especially if it was particularly rough or as you mentioned, with a well endowed man.
