I know that every cancer is very dangerous but pancreatic can mess up with your body because pancreas controls levels of insulin and glucagon which both control your blood sugar level. So when you have pancreatic cancer you can easily develop diabetes. And after you treat your cancer you will most likely have problems with diabetes. It is not strange to have problems in the stomach. Pain in stomach is very often a sign of pancreatic cancer. She can even have problems with nausea and vomiting. Has she got any of these problems? Is her appetite fine? She will most likely lose some weight as well. I hope this helps.
