Please I need to hear if the brain fog and dizziness go away? its been almost 2 months after surgery and I have good days and bad days, just praying that it will go away and I be clear headed again.

Hello, I have been doing some research about your situation.  So far I don't see that brain fog and dizziness should be from the parathyroidectomy.  I was wondering, how old are you?  Sometimes with older adults, the anesthesia will cause problems with people.  But after almost 2 months, you should be feeling better.  You should double-check with the doctor if you don't have a followup appointment coming up soon.  He can run some tests to see if you have anything going on with your blood pressure or other vital signs.  Hopefully your dizziness and brain fog will go away soon!

Has anyone else experienced this after a parathyroidectomy or other surgery?

I had parathyroidectomy 6 weeks ago.My symptoms before the operation were depression, anxiety and brain fog.I do not see any significant improvement uptill now.All I can see is some improvement in the symptoms in some hours of few days then recurrence of the symptoms in the full strength afterward.
