I have recently partially torn my Frenulum. It has healed pretty well but I am having trouble retracting my foreskin and keeping it there. It causes discomfort as it goes back and does not want to stay. I need to know if I have a Frenulum Breve or if it is just that i need to get used to retracting the foreskin with my newly healed frenulum. I don't understand exactly what frenulum breve is and mine is not incredibly short and I feel I may have a minor case if so. Is there anything i can do to maybe stretch or strengthen my Frenulum. Any insight would be helpful. thank you.
Frenulum can be stretched while you are stretching your foreskin. Doctors usually prescribe corticosteroids to help in the process. But the use of corticosteroids should be moderate, so you wouldn’t experience some side effects.
You could try it like this: it would be best to do it in a shower, or warm bath every day for a few weeks to notice any progress.
You start by pulling the foreskin over the penis’s glans (head), using your finger and making circles at the opening of your foreskin. That way you will be enlarging and stretching the foreskin opening. When you notice that the opening of the foreskin became loser, you could try pulling it down the shaft as well. Pain should be your limit. Don’t do anything that hurts. This is why warm baths and showers are good as well as different lubrication to make it less painful. You need to know that this is a lengthily process and that you need to be persistent as it may take a few months until you will be able to strech the foreskin. While doing the foreskin stretching, you will be stretching frenulum as well.
Frenulum breve is a condition in which frenulum is too short and restricts the movement of the foreskin. If it broke once, it will broke again, especially during intercourse and you may end up being in a lot of pain until it heals.
Maybe you could see an urologist and see what s/he would suggest.

The same thing happened to me while having sex wid my gal friend. I had a big cut and almost tore off my frenulum. It was bleeding heavily and I was so scared. But the good thing is that I applied vaseline there and then and did not have sex for 1 week. Now I use Lubricant and I'm almost fine now. So no need to get scared. Keep on applying vaseline and give a week or two to heal and use lube after it heals for sex.
i would just like to say thanks for posting this the same exact thing happend to me two days ago and i find this very helpful because ii was afraid to have sex ever again/
this is very helpful because it happened to me yesterday and there was so much blood and i have been scared of what could happen and my girlfriend is soo worried about me.
this helps me soo much ill start today and see how it goes :-)

The first time mine tore, I let it heal back together. Then it tore again and I realized it was going to keep doing that unless I stopped it from healing back to the short condition. So I wrapped it with whatever was handy like a piece of gauze or even toilet paper to keep it from reattaching to itself in the same short position. I think it probably tore four or five times and I wrapped it each time, before it was long enough so it didn't tear anymore. I never worried about it, but it was rather inconvenient to have it bleeding after sex. I found the pain didn't last long and it was usually healed up pretty well within a day or two. When it was done tearing, my foreskin was able to roll all the way back so the tip is near my abdomen. It's really nice to have a foreskin that moves all the way back, comfortably.
Even I had torn my frenulum years ago and I can retract my foreskin fully, but my main problem is that when I sex and sex I left with inner foreskin cuts. I'm not able to understand why this happen. Anyone could suggest me the rightway
must you wait to be fully healed to have sex?
There are no rules about it that I know of so I guess it's up to you. How much does it hurt? Does the reward outweigh the pain? Eventually it will stop tearing when it's no longer too tight/short.
I have questions could you contact me?
Thank you!
