Hi, my name is Greg, and I have been experiencing bad gastrointestinal problems for about 3 months. During this time, I have been experiencing irregularities in my bowel movements, stool consistency (diarrhea, loose, runny, etc.), and appetite. Along with minor-major cramps at times, I have lost a total of 15-20 lbs. mostly during the last 1.5-2 months.
I went to a doctor for this and was diagnosed with acute gastritis and depression. He prescribed me a 24 hr. slow-release antacid but I refuse to take them since they make my stomach feel like a stone and do not improve my symptoms. I believe my weight loss and overall peace of mind would be much worse if not for me self-medicating with cannabis. I have thought to stop my use to see the true symptoms and their extent of damage, but I work at my first job and my stomach problems are getting in the way. This is due to my inability to have a proper diet, usually the worse of my stomach problems are in the morning and after every meal, and I am afraid of 'safe' and 'dangerous' foods (I am aware of what I can and cannot eat.)
In essence, should I go back to the doctor to have a check up on me? I sorta feel like my depression is gone, but I feel like it goes back into full swing if I am having trouble with my organs. I can't keep smoking pot all the time just so I can get rid of cramps and eat.
(I haven't tried cleansing products, or gone on a pure liquid/ or organic diet, and I have not tried probiotic products)
Hi Greg!
I think I might be able to help you with this... the problem is probably in your intestines. I'm sure you eat meat from time to time and including Pork... Do you cook the pork well, it's not pink in the middle it's white? (just to make sure my expectations are correct)... If it's mostly always pink... I think you might have a worm. That would require you to go to the hospital to be removed but one of my teachers actually gave me a good idea to remove it... put some hot soup in a bowl and place it near your anus. If it is a worm, in 15 to 20 minutes, it will be out of there in no time since they are attracted to liquid and nutriments. But do try and go to the hospital if that doesn't work.
Hope this helps.
