Pineal cyst and various symptoms

Hi any advice on how to get rid of a pineal cyst please.

It depends on how bad your symptoms are. You could get surgery if they are bad enough at the cyst is the cause.

Ashley, I am in myrtle Beach also and just found out I have a penial cyst. Maybe we can connect and compare notes.

Melatonin should not be taken. It will make your body produce less of it's own

Would love to know the size of your cyst and who was the fantastic neurosurgeon that you have remove it? Mine was understood in 2011 & my neurologist thought she found the answer but a neurosurgeon nixed that pretty quick. Mine covers both lobes & measures 15 mm overall have had terrible headaches the past few years but never knew its side until recently! Was upset to say the least. I also have the symptoms of Cushings Disease, high BP & intracranial pressure so hope a new PCP helps me to get the answers/surgery my poor brain needs. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Glad that you are feeling better. I am in the hospital in Ottawa Canada and had a menegonmea removed but still haveore that they couldn't get as well as a 15 mm pineal.cyst that they didn't touch and my doctor says don't worry about it. I am extremely tired all day and night and took stimulants before my brain surgery
How big was your cyst and how did they remove it etc etc
Are you able to.drive a car now?

I'm going through the same thing and my cyst is only 7mm but I still get confused can't drive can't think straight. I had to retire from nursing because I can't safely take care of my patients. I promise you small cysts are big enough to cause symptoms.

Hi Diane, My name is Tera I also have a pineal cyst with all of your symptoms. There is some great information and a support group on Facebook. Sadly most Dr.s despite the symptoms will call this incidental if they don't see hydrocephalus.  Good luck to you and God bless.

I have a weird odor in my nose that comes and goes, but more often lately, almost every couple of days. My cyst was found last week.
