I’m interested if poisoning is possible when using otcs? I use great amount of strepsils and similar ‘sweets’ for throat. I really need to use them, but am worried because it has become chronical. I have very sensitive throat and found strepsils more helpful than neoangin. I’m interested in any side effects that may occur in prolonged using of these candies?
My daughter had problems with sore throat very often. She liked to take oriblettes that I wouldn’t name here. It was her mistake that really ‘overdosed’ and got severe constipation. I think that these otc drugs can also cause side effects, even a kind of poisoning if taken too much. This is my example. She had constipation that lasted about 2 weeks. That was really bad situation, as I remember.
