I am a 54 year old male and have had chronic PR since 1998. I have tried ever treatment under the sun and have been biopsied several times. I currently use a otc antifungal liquid which dries up the spots as they appear. Though I will say the most effective product has been Fluocinolone cream.

Do you still have it? How long did it last you in total? I'm having the same case.

I’m on week 7 of it and it’s finally going away. My doctor told me to take (2) 10mg of Zyrtic twice daily, 2 Pepcid (yes, Pepcid - sounds weird, but works) twice daily and calamine lotion. These - along with avoiding hot showers - were what FINALLY worked for me. It’s been awful. I thought it was never going to go away, but it’s finally all fading. Good luck!

Has anybody else tried Prreze? I had PR for over a year. Diagnosed at 9 months, then tried a bunch of stuff for another 3 months, until I found this cream. I tried tanning, bio oil, dandruff shampoo, antifungals, black soap, vitamin C and more. Prreze stuff made it go away in 5 days. Took the itch within about 20 minutes. By the second day the rash was dry and scaly. After another 2 weeks all the skin discoloration was gone. It is a bunch of oils, all together. All natural, they said, with no chemicals or steroids.

There is a cure!!! Oregano oil, the straight real stuff (I get mine from doterra) it's very strong so mix it with some extra Virgin olive oil, you still want a fairly strong mixture, then use a q-tip and apply over the spots morning at night, they will be gone in a week tops. Mine went in 4 days.

So by that reasoning a 7 yo who dies of leukemia. This is a symbol of something else. It makes like you say people get sick because of things they do, that's sick. Really sick.

Hi Everyone... it seems like I'm the only person on this board who has had this for nearly a year. I'm a really healthy guy, 37 years old, eat a plant based diet, exercise and take good care of myself. I'm really doing my best to stay positive and treat this thing naturally, without any steroids or pharma etc.

I'd love to hear of some hopeful / helpful comments with those who've experienced this for longer periods of time. I'm on holidays with friends in a few weeks, and I'm dreading the thought of having my shirt off. It's all over my torso, and on the creases of my arms too. Some days are better than others, and I'm currently doing a detox, including no alcohol, grains, dairy or eggs.

Has anyone dealt with this for a LONG time?

Much love to you all.

Hi all, I have had PR for 9 months! I am a 48 year old female, it has been HELL on earth, particularly at night time in this humidity. I have recently bought a hot tub, can't use it as it makes the itching worse... I have kind of learned to live with it and had begun to accept that it may last for years! But, suddenly, this week it appears to be going! I'm no longer itchy, the rash has gone and left my skin like sandpaper. I have white patches all over my body. I tried everything, trust me, 9 months of trying.....my daughter bought a Lush Facemask that you keep in the fridge, it's called Brazened Honey (Lush) as a last desperate resort, during a really horrible burning itch/ scratch cycle, I slathered this stuff on because it was cold.....the relief was instant! It's also an exfoliant. Interestingly, the main ingredient in this is Ginger.....sorry for the long post, but if this helps another person with this life limiting condition then it was worth reading! Good luck all of you and I hope it doesn't last as long as mine did.....now, off to the hot tub!
