My boyfriend and i had unprotected sex alot but we never really worried about it cause i was on BC I was on my sugar pills and my period had almost stopped and i still had two sugar pills to take so we had unprotected sex and he came in me both days, well I missed the first pill of my new pack and took it the next day around lunch time. Well a week later I'm having all the signs of being pregnant. ( my breast are tender and swollen, nausea, and I'm tired all the time) its now about a week and a half before I'm supposed to start my period but I decided two days ago to stop taking my birth control because I didn't want it to harm the baby if I am pregnant. I'm now on the second day of not taking my Band I'm having brown, light pink discharge . I've took home pregnancy tests and they've all been negative. I'm still having signs of being pregnant and I'm just wondering if its normal to have the brown, light pink discharge. I'm thinking its from stopping my birth control but I just need to know when i should take another test and what everyone thinks. I'm also on some other medicine that could harm the baby but I've continued taking it because it's something I just can't stop. Do u think I made the right decision to stop taking my BC? am I pregnant? Idk what to do. Please help me.
Most pregnancy tests are best to take the first day of your missed period. The light pink and brown blood sounds like it could be implantation bleeding. Or it could just be from you stopping your birth control suddenly. I would definitely talk to your doctor if you think that you could be pregnant and are taking meds that are dangerous to the baby. My advice, call your OB/GYN and tell them what is going on and test the first day your period is due. Good luck.
