2-months salary is the socially acceptable "minimum" to spend on a 'rock'.

Home & Work.

Bib numbers are on a giant ring, clipped via magnet on my fridge.
My one single race trophy is on the mantle above my work desk along with all my bobbleheads.

Trophies:there's a few boxes in the supply room in my basement with old ones. Recent ones...in a drawer somewhere. Most recent marathon ones get the spot on the mantel

medals: award-type, don't know....I know my hubby has them somewhere. Finisher medals for Marathon and half for both me and hubs are on a clothes hanger in my closet

bib numbers....I find them everywhere, car, laundry room lots of times.

Posters from marathons are in my workout room.

Shirts.....I have two boxes, I have laundry basket in my bedroom right now as I'm in the process of having a quilt made....so I'm picking shirts. I also have a dresser full in spare room.

clippings/articles/results: in the closet in the computer room

There's no way in HECK that I'd ever drop that kind of money on a diamond.
They can have my 2 months salary when they pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

When we moved 2 years ago, Pebbs had about 5 large moving boxes full of trophies, plaques and medals. She threw away about 3 boxes of trophies and reboxed the ones she felt were achievements (1st places and big races).
A few months ago while I was finishing our exercise room, I built a trophy case and placed them in there. The case is too full and I am going to build another for the kiddos stuff.

She does have a good deal of hardware. I took a piece of fiber board and covered it with material and hung it on the wall in her room as a temporary place for her plaques and medals......someday I will get around to the case.

Mostly at home. I had the bib from my 50K up at work but I think I brought it home. I have plans to put that in frame with the article that I wrote, the 2 pictures I have and the article about the race but I just haven't gotten to that.

I think you definitely should. I used to go to a shoe store and liked to read the articles on the owners wife. Whenever I'd see her she had three little ones hanging from her, it was interesting to see a person in a different light. She was a very good biker, IronWoman. As an owner, you can make a nice connection with customers

I agree, that would be a good PR message

so this one got me thinking, WTH Bring them in. Enough people here already know about my skate racing and even ask, SOOOOO.

i have three races that meant a lot to me this year. Disney, the US 10K Classic and of course Athens to Atlanta ( A2A,also meaning the most)The US10k gives a desk clock as an award for age placements. so i put the Disney and A2A medals on the clock which now sets proudly and prominently on my desk :wiggle:
