My sister started to suffer of TMJ while she was in high school. She used to complain about pain when she bite and swallow food. The pain would come and go, so at the beginning we were thinking that was ear infection. Then he jaw pop, which made us worried. I would like to hear if anyone experienced something like that. Is there some advice, how to pop jaw back, because she needs help about this.

I had similar problems as your sister, especially when I had sores in my mouth. At the beginning, I thought there was nothing I could do but wait. Then it happened and my jaw pop. All this time I had it, I get used so I found some details, which might help. For the start, she should get it relaxed. She should be able to wiggle it freely side to side with her hands. That should be done without her jaw muscles resisting. Then tell her to put her palms against the side of her jaw. Next step is to wiggle forcefully jaw side to side. She might also try compressing jaw, doing opposite vertical motions, or pushing forward. It may help if her jaw is dropped and completely relaxed when she is doing this. I hope this will help her to pop her jaw back, because it works for me and I have not suffered from TMJ pain for years.
