Ever since around March I have had hemorrhoids, at least that is when I was diagnosed. Initially, it was only one and it seemed to be mostly internal, but would protrude after a BM. There was some bleeding but not much and almost no pain. I was given some suppositories and fiber tablets and told to wait it out. The problem seemed to go away, at least somewhat. There was no more bleeding and no pain, so my doctor told me to stop the suppositories and just stick with the fiber tablets.
I stopped taking them after a few weeks and had no complications until 2 days ago. Suddenly, a new development a occurred. I now have a lump on the outside of my anus that has become quite painful. It will not go back inside and seems kind of hard to the touch. It is light pink in color with a dark blue/black area around it. It is about the same size as a kidney bean.
The pain is quite annoying and very sudden. 2 days ago it was uncomfortable. Then yesterday it was more bearable, little pain. Then this morning I was forced awake from the pain after only 3 hours of sleep. I am usually a deep sleeper who gets around 10 hours a night (no job atm)
So far I have tried warm baths about twice a day, starting my fiber tablets again, and a cream that my parents use for their hemorrhoids which they claim works wonderfully.
I am very worried about my condition due to lack of information or comparable experience. The pain is enough for me to need to sit on an ice pack, but when I move around it isn't too bad.
Should I go see a doctor ASAP, or is my condition temporary that doesn't require immediate attention?
What can I do to alleviate the pain, I already take advil, and prevent it from coming back?
Any other advice is greatly appreciated, thank you very much in advance

Pick up the courage and go see a collorectal surgeon. Sounds like you need surgery as it sounds like you have stage 3 hems and the only way to get rid of them is surgery. Try and find a doctor that can give you options on different types of surgery.
