I recently have had swine flu and had fall onto front of left ribs 05/01/2011
really hurt to cough and doctor put me onto voltorol, this however caused me diarrhoea so coped with paractomol
pain did initially improve but still left with a ache on sleeping and coughing .movement of upper body
unfortunately have since had another fall on sunday 16.01.2011 whilst in shower
really bruised my buttock and banged back on side of bath
seen gp during week -she thought i have a # rib to side/back on left side
I am now 1 week on and pain is getting worse, really bad night ,lying down is really painful. no bruisng to back but do have visible swelling ,around bra strap area ,even my breasts are aching
did have coughing fit last night ,brought up alot of phlegm
should i return to gp, as i know they cannot do much ,unsure if i should be concerned or not
