what are the symptoms of infection following an abortion? I had a high fever yesterday and I only had my abortion 3 days ago. I'm ok today, just alot of cramping and alot of bleeding.
It is normal to have a day of slight fever after an abortion.
If it was above 101 degrees, and it lasted for longer than 1 day, it would be a worry.

I had a surgical ab on Han 14 no prob scant bleeding. Saw a dr 1 week post got a scan they found a tiny blood or tissue so she sent me to obgyn. Went to obgyn she looked at reports and said she is sure it's blood it will pass this was 2 weeks post. She did internal said uterus is fine no pain when doing it she also did pap and used speculum. She did urine test showed little pink so she ordered blood test feb2 . Since exam I'm so sore and swollen down there possibly from exam and I have lower back pain . I seem to have to pee with just little amounts can this be a uti? Or infection. Still no pain fever Bp is ok pulse ok.
