Hi, I have problems in seeing precisely after my retinal detachment surgery, how can I determine what is done during this surgery?
Hi, I had retinal detachment surgery nearly five years ago, and I had no complications until recently. But, I know a man who had flashing after surgery, and he needed another one to have this corrected. Interruption of seeing is followed by sharp pain. When I mentioned this to my doctor, he seemed unconcerned and explained me it was some accompanying side effect after the surgery. But, my symptoms are not disappearing and I am getting more and more concerned. Now, I have decided to go and ask another doctor for advice and therapy.
I am getting surgery soon, i am a mere 16 years old, and am very scared. I don't knw what will happen..any advice..
I just got released. No worries, never knew it even happened. Painless I would say. Now the recovery with the bubble is painless as well but just irritation as heck!
My son is in for retinal detachment surgery, and I'm curious to know if there are any pre-op blood work type tests that should be performed or required prior to surgery being performed?
