I had an abortion about 2 weeks ago. i really really didnt want to have this abortion. mainly due to the fact that i have had 2 previous ones. one 7 yrs ago and the second was only a year ago. The main reason why i didnt go through with this pregnancy was because i am epileptic and the medication i am on will cause birth defects, and i just felt that its not fare to the child. also i do plan on getting off the epileptic medication and stay just on folic acid cause my epilepsy is not that severe, and i plan on doing this for a few months before trying to get pregnant just so that it can get out of my system. now its been 2 weeks and i just want to know if it i can get pregnant again, carry out a healthy pregnancy, and which if any procautions to take? or if you have any advise on tests or procedures that i should take?

You should wait till you stop bleeding, if you have sex during the bleeding you may get infections and it wont be good for you. Try to wait till you are clean or if you can just wait till you have your first cycle and than you will be ok to have as much sex as you want :)
