Although I am not an obgyn I did have to go to med school and from my understanding and my studies it takes about 3 hours at least for the sperm to reach the egg after. So, for a women to know immedialty after sex I would say is next to impossible. But you have a 50/50 chance of being right if you know you are ovulating.
