I have recently found out Im approximately 5 weeks pregnant, Im 36. This is my first child and very very much wanted. I have had my first blood tests and have received a letter today from my doctor asking me to make an appointment to discuss these results. Im extremely worried about this, why would I be called in to see him, is this normal? I have made the appointment for tomorrow, but would like to be forewarned over the possible reasons why I would be called in, without spending all today and tomorrow worrying, please help me? Do to the fact that your blood effects the baby it could be something small. when I was pregnant with my first child my iron was to low, and i got the same letter. When I went to the doctor they gave me a perscription and that was that. I would not worry .
