pregnant ,2 days after i got off the depo shot?????????

I'm sorry but I can't help but share my story I know you asked this question along time ago but still I got pregnant 2 months after stopping the depo shot so no it does not take 18 months to get out your system some Drs say it takes 6- 12 months for fertility to go back to normal First and last time iv ever heard of 18 months!!!!

Hi, so i been off the depo for about eight weeks. when the depo wore off i was on my period for about a week straight, while i was on my period my boyfriend and i were having sex. the date was september 8-13 tht i was on my period. Now today i have not had a period since and it has been a month already, i forgot to minchin that everytime i come off the depo i have a period and everything goes back to normal until my next shot then i dont have a period til the shot wares off again. I have not gotten the shot since it wore off. I have been having pregnancy like symptoms, sore breasts, constipation, headaches, heartburn, and weight gain. but i have not felt nauseas. I have tooken about 7 pregnancy tests all show up negative. i feel so tired latley. Another wierd symptom i felt just the other day was a fluttering feeling in my lower abdomen... but i know if i am pregnant its way to early to feel that. im so confused and need an answer, can someone please help me out???

I was on the depo for a year and a half, i got off about 9 months ago. I am having pregnancy symptoms and all that. Brown discharge has was coming out for 4 or 5 days now. and just 7 or 8 days before that ii had unprotected sex and he finished in me. We want a baby but i ge negitive test results all the time. has this happened to anyone else if so where you pregnant? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

hi my girlfriend recently got off the depo for about 4months and she has been having pregnancy like symptons and after she got off she has had her period regular like and now she is about a month late and has been sleeping alot lately a lil bit of cramping is she bregnant

I'm 23 and I was on the shot for 6 months, so had the shot twice! I was literally 2 days late to get the next one due as was a weekend the day it fell on and then instantly (well about a week) I felt different and sick! Then found out I was pregnant. Every woman I'd different but no contreception is 100%!

that is not true its depend on your body i missed my depo shot the end of sept and had sex oct 13 and got pregnant so yes you can get pregnant after missing this shot and having sex at the time the shot is due is a big risk of getting pregnant i have 2 kids and i have had both of them at the end of my missed shots....

It is very possible. I had the same symptoms and found out I was pregnant and my son was born 3 months early due to complications but he is now one and healthy as can be.

I am 21 years old and was on the depo shot for about a year and a half.  I have been off the shot for about 2 month now and went back on birth control.  The first month off the shot I got my period just like usual and have since.  At first I had the symptoms of being prego so i took a test and it was neg and then i got my period.  i thought this was weird since I have been told and everything I researched said it would be months before I would get my period back.  Now I have finished my period and it was normal just major cramping worse than before and it only lasted like 3 days 2nd being the heaviest.  Does this mean that I am all back to normal so quick also I have been extremly tired lately and starting to feel icky, sore breasts and all tht again, could I be prego?

well i have been on depo for three months and stop doing the shot and i havent seen my period either i have already tooken about four test and all them coming up not pregnant so its almost the first and it still havent came on so i got another test but i am going to wait for that one but this never did me like this before when i was on depo so now i am comfuse to but i just read this other web site and it say u have to wait intell your body get right and back to normal before your period comes on i just dont know but it says i am not so

I'm 25 & I also got the shot twice & was due to get my 3rd shot November 26th but my fiancé & I want a baby so I didn't get it purposely. We had sex on December 2nd, do u think its possible for me to be pregnant now? How soon before I take a test? I didn't have a period the entire 6 months I was on the depo..

How long was u on the shot I have been on the shot for about a year and I don't have any kids I am 23 and I had a miscarriage when I was 17 years old I just really want a baby and I'm scared I don't want to wait two years to have a baby I wish I would have known all this

Hi i have been using the depo shot for 3 yrs, i was to get my last shot btw nov 16 and nov 21, i decided not to get it because i wanted to try for my 3rd baby, and i knew that it would take at least 14 month before the shot was off my system, like everyone else stopping the shot i had all the pregnancy symptoms like nausea headache, mood swings and all but i read that those were the side effect after stopping the shot. nway on jan the symptoms got worse and i decided to take a pregnancy test, to my disbelief i was pregnant, not only that when i went to the doctor he said i was 7-8 weeks pregnant meaning i got pregnant like less than a week pregnant after the last shot so just be careful coz everyone is different dont beleive the 18 month period thing.
