Hi im very sorry to hear that i have a question i only been on depo for three months i took the shot in june of 2012 and i bled the whole three months then i got of of it in aug or sept then i had a period until january since then i have not had a period what should i do i took four pregnanxy test at home and it came back negative

I just got off the depo shot last week, and on the same day i was supposed to go in for my shot, my boyfriend and I had sex. It is now a week later and i want to know if i am or if i can get pregnant. I was also bleeding a little before the day of my shot and also while i had sex. I was bleeding 4 days after as well. I was feeling a little nauseus last night and i am wondering if i could be pregnant. We had unprotected sex as well.

I was on depo for 2 years and got off and within 2 months I was pregnant. I was told it would take 6 months to 1.5 years before I would be able to conceive. I was very surprised when I was pregnant within 2 months. I was suppose to get a depo shot in June and in September I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant. I was totally shocked. That goes to show that it depends on the individual... Those symptoms that you are explaining sound like Depo withdrawal symptoms, I experienced those symptoms as well. At first I thought I was still experiencing those symptoms 3 months later in September and I went to see my gynecologist and found out I was pregnant. What a blessing especially since it takes most women several months to years to conceive after Depo. Hope this helps. BSN, RN

I only got one depo shot got off in feb 2012 got my period back in march and found out i was pregnant in april of 2012. I truly believes it depends on your body.. Hope this helps

From what u described it sounds unlikely u r pregnant. The dark brown color is old blood that was left. To answer the rest will take a minute so bare wit me plz. It is not common for women to get pregnant right after coming off the shot, however I am an exception to it. Both my boys were conceived within a couple weeks from coming off it. And yes it really was just a couple of weeks. Every few yrs I take myself off to get my menstrual and without fail I would get it immediately. I was on it several yrs before I stopped the first time and surprise I got pregnant within 2 weeks. I didn't get my period that time and figured it was normal. Until 4 months went by I didn't even think I could be pregnant. He is now 12. My younger one was also conceived within 2 weeks of coming off it he is now 4 yrs old. I did have my menstrual right before conceiving him right after coming off the shot. If u ever question u r get a test. Lol

All you symptoms sounds just like mine... I am having everyone of your symptoms!!! I havent had sex in a very long time so i know i am not pregnant, so maybe what you're going through is getting off depo. Your body is just adjusting to not getting all those hormones.

I came of the needle on the 21st... Started a realy light period like a pink discharge more Brow discharge.. Have preg Symptoms to the discharge only lasted 4-5 days on and of... I normally every time get realy bad period pains but this time nothing... I've had Dizziness nausea tired all the time moody and cramps... Done a test it said neg :/ ?!?

Hey bubbles!! I know how you feel girl. I been off the depo for almost 4 months and still have symptoms for nausea, sore breast, pimple breakouts, frequent bowel movements, weird discharges, oily skin, mods swings and I don't know if I wanna cry one minute or slap the c**p outta someone the next minute.

What you're going through is normal. It is just your body trying to readjust without all those hormones from the depo.

I had the shot June 12 / 2013 and its been 11 weeks of hell. I ended up in the hospital because i was bleeding very heavily with very large clots. Not to mention the shot caused me to have a hormonal breakout "legsions" on both legs. Which is not common. The bleeding slowed down after i started shepherds purse drops. I had stopped the drops 2 weeks ago and I started bleeding today at week 11! I am wondering if this could be my period coming back? Its not brown discharge. It is bright red! I too have been very tired, sore breasts, cramps, moody, and constipated the last 3 - 4 days. Once this shot is out of my system, i am hoping to get preg with a 3rd child. So I am just wondering if it is possible to get your period 11 weeks into the shot?

I was on depo and have pcos and have had 2 babies since it!! So you can still get pregnant just can take a while sometimes for depo to leave your system

Hi, I've been off the shot for 9 months and only just started getting my periods back. I too had pregnancy symptoms, and tones of bad cramps and back aches also. I think it's just your hormones getting back into check, the amount of tests I've done is unreal but I think even my doctor was convinced I was pregnant which made me more convinced!
