it's been exactly a month and one day since my abortion. I was put on the pill straight after the procedure and on saturday started the inactive pills for the week. i started bleeding on monday but it was VERY light. then today (friday) i had excessive bleeding, soaking a pad in about an hour or so. I also had very bad cramps, nausea and was dizzy and couldn't stand up. I don't think it's related but I also had a really really bad pain right above my right eye. And while the cramps were at their worst, my upper left thigh went a bit numb and it seemed to stem from where the pain in my abdomen was. It wasn't regular period cramps though, it was a little lower down and just didn't feel the same. I rang an on-call nurse and she asked if i was pregnant again. I didn't think this was possible as i had my period?
is this sort of pain normal? could i be pregnant again even though there was bleeding? i don't want to take a test as it would probably come out positive having had my abortion only a month ago. just need some advice.

I dont know what to tell you about the bleeding. But if you are pregnant again then that is a sign that God wants you to be a mother!!!!!!
Not wanting to take a pregnancy test after an abortion is understandable - they can still read positive months after, if what I hear is correct. And I have heard of women having some bleeding during pregnancy. To confirm whether or not you're pregnant, you should have your blood tested. That seems to be the most reliable method after an abortion. I'm thinking of doing so myself, but am currently in the process of moving to a different city...
