I HAD A HYSTERECTOMY 6 YEARS AGO BUT LATELY I HAVE BEEN WAKING UP REALLY SICK TO THE POINT OF FEELING ALL THE SYMPTOMS OF PREGNANCY BUT, I HAVE A KIDNEY DISEASE AND UNTIL TODAY ASSUMED IT WAS THAT BUT, MY DOCTOR THREW OUT THERE AND ASKED ME IF I COULD BE PREGNANT. WOW UNTIL SHE ASKED ME THAT AND I READ ALL THESE POSTINGS I NEVER THOUGHT FOR A SECOND I MAYBE PREGNANT. IT WOULD BE HORRIBLE BECAUSE I DONT HAVE A UTERUS. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ANOTHER CHILD BUT, IT WOULDNT LAST. I WAS WONDERING WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF THIS TRULY HAPPENING??? I NEVER HEARD THAT BEFORE UNTIL TODAY. SO IM GOING TO TAKE A TEST TOMORROW BUT, IT JUST DOESNT SEEM LIKE THAT COULD EVEN BE SLIGHTLY POSSIBLE. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?? I ONLY HAVE MY OVARIES LEFT
I meantioned to my mother today that my nipples were really sore. I have never had sore nipples even when I had my son. I had to have a hysorectomy after him due to DIC where I was free bleeding and my uterus wouldn't close back. They left my ovaries but my mom said there was a lady on the news a few years ago who had a hysterectomy and became pregnant. I have always heard that you will have a miscarriage if this happens but my mom said that the baby attached to the womans kidney and she delivered it. Is this possible? Has anyone found an article on anything like this? I know how rare it is
I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH ME WHAT DO I DO ?

Yes it is possible for the baby to implant on organs or the wall within the abdomen, however, Justthefacts got something right. The baby's chances of carrying to full term are nil. It has been done, but under strict medical care and a C-Section as soon as the Physicians felt the baby could make it. There are several of such cases in Medical Journals are the world. But as I said, the Physicians only allow the baby grow to the point of viability then do a C-Section, which is around 29-30 weeks, if the fetus made it that far.
