Hi there! I have a question:
I miscarried mid june of this year and found out 2 weeks ago I am currently pregnant (yay!)
I went to see my doc sept 17, did a blood test and the results came back that I am 8-10 weeks pregnant.
Went and did an OB ultrasound sept 29 and the tech said I'm 8 weeks pregnant. That's almost 2 weeks after I did a blood test.
I never had a period after my miscarriage and my question is: is blood test result based on the day of conception and/or hcg level? and for ultrasounds - do they tell you based on the size of the embryo/fetus how far along or do they date based on you LMP?
I don't see my doc for a few more weeks so I will ask her for a due date until then, I'm looking on the internet for some info so any answers would be much appreciated! Thank you!
