So glad to have found this website. I have read the posts on pulsatile tinnitus with interest. I have suffered with this for about a month now but the dr seems unwilling to do much. It mainly affects me at night and I cannot sleep. I expect a lot of you will have been there.
I currently have impacted wax in both ears and hope to persuade the dr to send me for it to be sucked out. Two attempts to syringe the wax have been unsuccessful at the dr surgery.
Can impacted ear wax cause discomfort also? I have been taking penicillin as the dr thought I had an ear infection but it has done little or nothing to ease the problem.
Is there anything that can be done to mask the pulsatile tinnitus whilst I am awaiting an appt at the hospital?
Many thanks for any help you can give. It is comforting to know there are others out there with this problem.
