Feeling better that others are feeling this... Lasts about 30-60 sec in my lower abdomen and not matching my heartbeat...comes and goes... Still no answer as to what it is though... I am 28 weeks - thanks for the info
I'm 29 weeks and I've also had an odd pulsing in an about inch wide spot, right above my pelvic bone, front and center. It doesn't feel like cramping, though I have been a bit more lately. It almost feels like movement, but it's not quite the same. What you all have described is much faster than what I'm experiencing. I've been able to feel and watch my pulse in my belly since month 4. This is much different, and only in one spot. I've compared it to my pulse, it is much slower and not at all synchronized. The usual rate is about a pulse per second and a half, two seconds. And it's very rhythmic, not like baby movements. It happens for maybe 5, 10 minutes a time or two a day, I've never really timed it. It is kind of freaking me out. I have an appt on the 3rd, so I will definitely be asking my OB about it.
im 38 weeks and have been in unprogressive labor for 2 days. i get the pulsating in my pelvic area off to the side after every contraction my ob said its the blood surging back after the tightening of my womb and i felt it before i even started having contractions doc said its my bodys way of getting ready for labor :)
This is definitely not a heart beat. My heart beats at over 100bpm and this feeling is probably around 60.
My pulsating is higher, right under my ribs on the right side, I can physically see the movement, but it's definitely not hiccups, too fast. Insight would be greatly appreciated!!
I also get it too and I'm trying to find out what it is. Everyone here is going through the same except I want to know if anyone found answers to why this is happening? I realized only if I change sides to my left then it stops. Is it to do with flow of blood restrictions? Because as far as I know, if your sleeping on your left it's meant to be good for you, as you will have more blood supply going to the baby's placenta
Did you find out what it is? My little guy does the same thing, I don't know what to think. :/
I feel it too. I'm 33 weeks and it happens quite often. I had an appt today and totally spaced that question. It feels like a heartbeat but a little slower and definatly not hard to feel. Lower abdomen and its on my right side. Lasted about ten minutes tonight. Wish I could see this action going on in there on an ultra sound!!
I am only 5 weeks and I have had the same pulsating in my back and pelvic area...I am really scared.
I will be 29 weeks tomorrow and ive been feeling the same pulse feeling near my pelvic. Been going on for a few weeks Its a weird feeling. Kinda uncomfortable to me though. Feels like the baby has hiccups. Im not sure if i like the feeling. Lol i have already talked to my doctor about the BH contractions that i been feeling foe the past month and i was told to stay hydrated. Which has helped bc i no longer feel them. Which is like period cramping. I go see my doctor next week and see what she says about it. As ive read, it could be hiccups so im not too worried about it.
I'm 27 weeks, same exact thing here
Did they ever tell you what the plusing was?
Yes I'm almost 34 months feeling a pulse that's worrying me
Not my heartbear and too slow to be baby's
Too fast to be hiccups I hope she's ok

I feel that a lot. Heart problems run in family, have gestational diabetes, and I feel weak... should I be worried?
What did your doctor tell you it was?! You explained me perfectly! It's way slower than a heartbeat but seems quicker than hiccups! I just wondered what your doctor told you it was :)
