My new puppy has a lump on its tummy. I am going to take it to the vet to be vaccinated next week, but I am wondering if I should call the vet before that to tell him about the lump. What can this be? Is it potentially something serious? My puppy is so cute and I want everything to be OK with him!

It is most likely just a patty lump. My dog has a few of these, and I have taken him to the vet for this, and the vet told me they are very common in dogs and they are nothing to worry about. They are not malicious or even painful for your dog. But, if you are going to see the vet any way, you should mention it!
