Me too, all I do all day is Google my symptoms. I feel like I am losing my mind. I am so tempted to smoke to see if it gets better....

Don't smoke just know what you are feeling is from the quit. If you look at the forum most of us have all of the same symptoms. Hey to ease your mind go get a check-up! It only took me 3 visits to the er in a 4 month span. i had 3 ekgs and also an echo cardiogram and 2 sets of blood work and a stress test for me to say its all in my head!! Oh i forgot also a couple visits to cvs minute clinic to check blood pressure pulse etc. And while I was a smoker for 30years I never was in a hospital. Its fdd up

I read your post and it was me exactly. 3 ER trips and 2 full blood work in my first year. Funny I use to go to CVS as well and every time I thought I would find my heart beating out of my chest it would in the 70's BPM. I just past the 2 year mark. I still get SOB from anxiety that I never had as a smoker but I just deal with it since it's not all the time. Please stay away from the anxiety meds I lasted 2 weeks on them. You just need to get over that hump.

I am now off the meds and every day it is getting better, even if it is .02%! I have hopes of better days and a healthy future.

This is my third time quitting in the past 3 years. I seem to make it to around the six month mark and then slip up again. I have dealt with a lot of the same things that others have had to deal with and I am really hopeful that this time I will be successful. The strange thing is that my really bad symptoms started earlier this time around. I am 7 weeks in and still on the low dose of the patch. My anxiety and muscle tension is off the charts. Exercise helps a little, but if it comes back very quickly and if I skip a day of exercise, it absolutely kills me. My body is one big knot and my nerves are shot. I am hoping that since it started earlier, it will also go away sooner, but I am really struggling right now. I am 41, smoked a little over a half a pack a day for 23 years. The last time I started smoking again, I went with the "organic" kind of smokes, but just found out they had more nicotine than my other brand. Do you think that might have something to do with the increased severity and earlier onset of bad symptoms? I am in a total fog, depressed, anxious, in pain and angry. I actually in pretty good shape, so I am kind of surprised how bad I feel this time around. I just want to feel better!
