I hope you figured it out. I think you are feeling useless because he doesn't invite you? or do you not respect yourself enough to give a damn? Being a stay at home mom will drive you nuts if you don't have anything to keep you busy (like he does with his job, gym, and friends). You HAVE to keep your mind/body busy. An idle mind is the devil's playground. If you're physically feeling/looking like sh*t, your mental/mind will believe so.

I'm on Day 6 of cold turkey cigs of 12 years (since sophomore year of high school) and about 5 years of smoking pot socially to 95% of the last few years. I got out of community college without it, but when I got to the State University, I went full on crazy from the stress. Graduated and did nothing but smoke cigs and weed. I was depressed, cut a lot of my friends out who I would always hang out with on a daily basic. Resented a lot of them who went places in their lives and "left" me behind. Ton of anxiety came from the start of pot smoking. Anyways, it's a rainy Sunday so I just wanted to let whoever sees this know that there is hope and others like them out there. Please do not give up.

I was feeling utterly despondent and punching all sorts of questions into google for some support. I came across your post and it was like a breath of fresh air...pardon the pun! It's been 12 days since I quit both weed and ciggies. I feel weird inside...mainly my chest, like I want to roar as loud as I possibly can and the anger, holy heck, I could give the devil a run for his money. Anyway, I like your straight talking, it reassures me and I'm gonna copy it and read it when I feel sh*t. I hope you are well and happy Karl.

So far I have 3 months quitting ciggerates , the way I quit ciggerates I started smoking weed I replaced it , but know I came on vacation for 16 days , and I don't know nobody that sells weed , and not planning on looking , but when I get back home 10 days from knoe , Iam not planning on smoking no more I feel little bit better everyday . so this the time I quit

IS it bad if you continue to smoke cigarettes and quit weed? I smoke maybe 4 cigarettes at most a day, I did use to mix weed and cigarettes together as well. I'm 2 days in no weed.

I have jus read your comment and it made me emotional I have wanted to and tried giving up weed and fags and other drugs for many years and failed.. everything u jus sed made me think alot about me and my life goals.. in my heart I am determined the people around me don't support my needs they give in I don't blame them it's my fault but I feel butter towards them for not Tryin to help me more but will always supply n jus after that addiction is hard I have 3 children I grew around fags and pot weed n was taking drugs in my early teens the way I'm goin the kids will follow but no matter what I do or try n speak myself into change it scares me and I fall back harder every time I don't kno if it's the drugs I hate or the people I chose to be around.. I say choose it's family partner n frineds I may lose on the way.. very hard decision to do alone!.. I applause u for your hard work and dedication for a better u

When you're smoking this much you need to cut back before quitting. My best advice would be limit your weed smoking to joints. Never mix weed and tobacco in the same bowl or paper and find some activities you don't mind that eat up time while you get used to the difference.

Start by holding off as long as you can between smokes and try to increase the time between them each time by a little bit. Before you know it you'll start to enjoy the time spent not smoking as well as smoking. At this point the problem is often that you arnt doing enough besides smoking to remember why you want to do anything else. You just have to push through the first bit and you'll start to see the benefits straight away. Good luck, and remember; try to get better is the first step to being a better person and you do deserve to be better.

I have tried quitting Cigarettes first before MMJ. A few times actually.
Now for me, I know different for others I am doing it in reverse. Hopefully today will be day three without MMJ. Aready cut way down on cigarettes. 4 a day. TOmorrow gonna give it a real try to cut the CIggs.
Reading these sites have helped. Thanks Breathing better already. The prevailing advice is to quit nicotine first. I have tried that. Now trying in reverse.

Ounce every 4-5 days / pack of cigs a day. Now get sober. Now freak out because you are bored. Take it out on everyone else. Raise your voice get thrown out of the house in the middle of the night to your wife who is on you about making money because you and her spent all of it, but you cant find work because of coronavirus shi%. So go ahead, have your blood boil your heart fall apart your relationships turn into the meeting before a MMA Fight. Your kids seeing you cry constantly...

This is where I am at. ..But time to go sober again, and f**k my life up worse still, all for the hope that my life will be better in 25 years and I might need my heart to get around.
