Hi there. Ill drop it down to the point. I have had recurring nodules underneath my left armpit, they are hard and tender. They do not move. I understand that these are my lymphnodes, but they change in size. Sometimes they are big, then they go down and are really small. I also have a lot of breast pain associated with the nodules. When they are small in size, the whole outer part of my left breast hurts really bad. Its pain radiating from the bottom of the breast and it goes up. It feels quite stabbing and pressure does not help. Also on my right breast, I experience the radiating pain from the nipple going in and spreading throughout the entire breast. Its just reaccuring but when it appears, it is constant. I do SBE every month after my cycle and there is no palpable mass except for the nodules on my left arm pit. They vary, they are sometimes big and sometimes small. I had my doctor palpate when it started, but they found nothing, so nothing was done further. That was 9 years ago and it just keeps coming back. I'm 26 years old and breast cancer does not run in my family. Any advice on what should I do.

I was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer after a biopsy in September 2012.  The mammogram and ultrasound said normal breast tissue.  Google IBC for the symptoms. Don't take no for an answer.  This cancer is often misdiagnosed.  My Caring Bridge site is pattymeyer1948.  Don't hesitate.  Find a doctor who is familiar with this form of cancer.
