From what I've read it doesn't sound as though you need to lose weight.
But if you think you do then theres ways to go about it. A good starting point would be to look up your Body Mass Index online. This will give you a true representation of what your current weight is in regard to your height.
Secondly, you should make sure you get a well-balanced diet. Starving yourself may work in the short term as you've experienced but in the end it will only make you ill. You should speak with a dietician to organise a diet that is suited to you.
Finally, exercise. Do whatever you enjoy, running or swimming etc. Just need to keep active.
I'm not medically qualified though. Just sharing some experiences I've had with some family members.

Here's my advice. I am not happy with my body. I don't think that almost anyone on this planet is. But I can tell you that being fat or skinny or whatever, you're not going to be happy until you accept that your body is what it is. I don't think that's an easy thing. I think that a lot of peopl eneed therapy to get help and I know I did. But you've got that body for your whole life. You need to be happy in it, okay? Can you see a doctor about the issue?
Hi strong_grl, are you still around? I just want to know how you're doing since you posted. You seemed really distraught and I tried to post something to help. I just wanted to know if you're okay. Let me know, okay?
Hey. I read a lot of what you wrote and I found it extremely helpful! I am not sure if I have anorexia but I do go long periods of time without eating I have for around three years now. At one point because of concern from people around me I tried to eat regularly again. I started to build up my confidence but everytime it goes down I cant help it but I stop eating again. I shake all the time and I play volleyball so its embarrassing when I come back in off the court and my whole body is shaking so bad I can barely drink my water. I don't lik when I start eating though because my stomach bloats really bad and not only does it hurt but it bloats in a way that makes me look like I'm pregnant :/ I was doing great for a while and then for around a month I stopped eating and now I'm trying to again but my stomach kills me like even above my stomach right below my ribs it hurts in a sickening way. Ive tried to take the easy way and just throw up but I couldn't do it. I just want to be normal again and not feel fatigued or fat. I mean I'm a junior in high school and I weigh as much as I did in like the 7th grade which I know is lkk great but I just cant see it...I just want to be able to not worry about if I ate or ate enough
