My mother in law gets this blister but on her feet. She has lupus which makes her skin react funny to all sorts of things.

I've had the same thing happen, first it starts as an itch and once i scratch it, bubbles start to form, it happens on my finger. I use hydrocortisone, and within a few days its gone. I haven't gone to see a doctor but this helps.

This actually sounds like HSV-1. . . . Non sexually transmitted, you can catch it just by contact with someone else who had it ie. Public restroom. . . .I forgot the name, but there is an OTC cream you can use. Unfortunately, once you have it, you have it

i have same thing, make a paste with tumeric powder. Its spice you can pick up in grocery store. apply to area of open blisters allow to dry. wash off and repeat once a day till area calms down. also add powder to hot water mix and drink... tastes like dirt but works quickly. symptoms gone in less then 5 days.

Sounds like Dyshydrotic Eczema, aka Pompholyx.

I have it on the palm of my right hand due to having to use a wrist splint, but it can be brought on by lots of different irritants.

My daughter gets something like this.. always in the same place. Like, exactly the same pattern on her upper thigh. It was treated incorrectly with anti biotics the first time she got it. My thoughts are that this creates an inability to fully kill whatever it is in her body because the strange part is that she seems to get it when she wears a pair of pants more than once with out washing. Almost like she's giving it back to herself thru skin cells. Iv treated it every time it comes back with a topical steroid cream. Which rules out herpes or anything fungal because it resolves very quickly after the first application. So.. still a mystery. But just my experience. Hope it helps someone. Lol :)

sounds like scabies. it's pretty much a mite that lives under your skin. they lay their eggs in water filled blisters, and when they pop it spreads. See a dermatologist to get examined. it is highly contagious, i got it from sharing a towel with a friend of mine when we were at the beach. Best thing to do is get a prescription cream that is used to smother the mite. You coat your entire body with it(it will burn all open blisters, but this is going to kill it) overnight. Whatever you do, don't pop the blisters....i know they're itchy. see a doctor

I've had the exact same thing 3 times in the past year and a half, in the same spot as you only my right top buttock. I did wonder if it was herpes of some sort so thanks for the input.
