I have the same exact thing! It's a spot about the size of a nickel on my left arm, immediately below the inside elbow crease. The blisters recur about 5x a year. Would love to know what it is!

What you are describing sound like herpes (yes, you can get outbreaks on your arm ). The reason I say this is that the rash you are describing is a typical herpes cycle ( Red bumps, that become fluid filled quickly, then scab over and heal). In addition herpes stays dormant in the body and then an outbreaks generally reoccur in the same place. there are both oral and topical medications to treat this condition. Your regular primary care physician should be able to prescribe you something.

I’ve had the same thing as some are describing- mine is on the back of my thigh just above the knee... can be either leg but never both at the same time. Feels like the size is the same as a nickel, up to a quarter. I have seen a dermatologist for it and he didn’t seem to be certain but gave me a medicine to use for the next outbreak. Mine happens usually once a year after I’ve gone out in the sun for the first time. Seems to start showing up the next day but I have noticed stress has caused it too. I only used the medicine the doctor gave me the one time, without much of a difference but I now treat it myself by rubbing vitamin E oil on it as soon as I feel the itchiness start. I keep it on my bathroom counter and rub a dab on every potty break and it is gone in about three days.... no scabbiness or blisters.

Mines exactly the same!!! I've been using clotrimizole and betamethasone dipropionate cream. I also get a small one on my forearm. Also the one on my butt forms a lump inside the flesh!

I have this SAME thing. I feel tingling and itchy on my left fore arm right before the little blisters start to from and then the itching intensifies as the blister cluster grows and fills with fluid. They are clear with a little hint of yellow, and redness around the area. They break and scab over about 2 weeks from the start. It causes me also pretty severe neck and shoulder joint pain, as well as some nerve tingling in other areas of my body. I have had a biopsy done and they thought it was auto immune but have since then kind of ruled that out. I am so lost, but only get in on my arm in the same two places, or the back of my right leg. Shingles is possible but would be far fetched in my opinion since it doesn't happen on the "trunk". This is a painful, emotional roller coaster each time I get this which is about 5 times a year I'd say. Knowing I'm not alone with these symptoms makes me feel better considering the Dr's have no idea what it is.
